Christmas Gift Guide 2021

HELLO, it’s me ya girl L Simps bringing you a last-minute gift guide for the 2021 holiday season. All of these things are things I either own (and love) or would love to own down the line.

  • A cute, fuzzy pair of slippers. I own these and wear them every day. They are warm, comfy, and have a hard bottom so I can walk to the mailbox in them if I need to.

  • Shop the “almost perfect sale” at Portland Leather Goods to find a beautiful leather bag, wallet, purse, backpack, or toiletries bag for a fraction of the cost. PLG makes it easy to shop small with some truly beautiful pieces, nearly all of which I want for myself.

  • Skinny Apple Watch bands. Having small wrists, the fat watch bands just do not cut it for me. I like these because they are more comfortable and BONUS come in the cutest colors.

  • The most perfect quilted jacket in all the land. I have owned this jacket since spring 2019 and wear it during every season. It is a perfect weight and looks good with just about anything.

  • A chunky, cozy knit blanket. We originally bought this for a photo prop but it has quickly become a blanket we use every night. It looks beautiful, complements any room, and is super soft.

  • When asked what gift to get a photographer friend, I immediately respond with a polaroid wireless printer. There are a few that you can choose from - this is the one we have but it seems to be selling out super quick, this one and this one are also great options. Essentially, you can take any photo on your phone and send it to the printer through an app. From there it prints the image on a polaroid. One thing to note is the size of polaroid each printer uses. The one we have does use the square, original-sized polaroid which can be harder to find but I truly like them better than the mini instax size. I honestly can’t say enough about how much I LOVE THESE THINGS. It is such a fun way to print photos and give gifts to those you love

  • With the new year right around the corner, what better time than to gift this water bottle that tracks your water intake by the hour? I like this water bottle because it makes it easy to keep up with water intake and has a simple design, which seems so hard to find these days (do we really need large colorful logos and words on EVERYTHING these days?)

  • Some of the best leggings I’ve ever owned. They are high-waisted, so soft, and thick enough to wear throughout the entire day.

  • I don’t even know what to call these, but I’ve worn these slide-on mules? clogs? so much since winter started. They are so easy to slide on for errands, to take the trash out, or wear over to my sister's house. They’re like Birkenstocks but personally I think they are way cuter (yah I said it) and also less expensive.

  • An ADORABLE, functional corduroy tote bag. Listen, I bought this bag for my two friends that hosted my baby shower and when they showed up I wanted to keep one for myself. It is so cute and could be used for so many different things. An easy gift for someone who has everything.

  • Y’all know me and y’all know I cannot make a gift guide without including my favorite flat brim hat. I have had this hat for YEARS and it is my go-to for any and all events. If you’ve got a hat-loving person in your life, this is the one.

  • Last, but CERTAINLY, not least, this super fun RetroViewfinder. My grandmother. had one of these and I loved looking at her different images through it. It comes with one Reel Gift Card with a code to upload your Custom Reel, and you can create and purchase reels down the line to gift, too.

And there ya have it, a last-minute lil list for the person on your list that you haven’t bought for. Tis the dang season, y’all.

xx,
