Food Sensitives: My Favorite Gluten Free Foods
As I walked into my naturopath's office for the follow-up appointment on my blood food sensitivity test last year, I prepared to hear the worst news. I just knew that both gluten and dairy would be on the list of future foods I would have to avoid if I wanted my psoriasis to start to heal. Of course, I was right and these were the main two foods that were showing the highest sensitivity on the scale. I had a feeling of peace, FINALLY I had some answers, but they were immediately followed by thoughts of dread -- how could I do this? Give up cheese? Give up PIZZA? Give up Sun Chips?!?!
But over a year later here I am and luckily I have been able to figure out a system that works pretty well for me. It’s not always easy but I know it is worth it. I get a ton of questions about my favorite gluten and dairy-free foods, so I figured I would put them all in one place. While there are tons and tons of good options for GF foods, this post is dedicated to the gluten-free treats you can typically and easily find in-store and online, with the dairy-free options coming soon!
